To be Job Ready you need to clearly specify where and when you are able to guarantee employment, the types of jobs available and your minimum training specifications. The AEC team can work with your organisation to implement a process which suits your organisational requirements.
The AEC will also assist you in preparing your Heroes (one on one mentors) as well as your managers and supervisors. A proactive mentoring culture will assist in retention of employees.
Job Set - Helping Job Seekers get SET for employment.
The AEC supports a work first approach to employment.
The preparation of AEC employees includes active intervention, building work skills and a focus on individual responsibility to ensure individuals reach their full potential.
JOB SET training is short term, skills based programs tailored to employer needs and supported by government
Upon successful completion of training the Indigenous Job Seekers moves into guaranteed employment.
The AEC is committed to supporting sustainable employment opportunities and actively encourages self-responsibility in employment.

Once a new worker commences employment they will be connected with a one on one workplace mentor. This is an informal relationship to enhance and encourage workplace performance.
