Andrew Forrest and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd announce a bold new initiative to tackle Indigenous disadvantage in Australia. The concept is an industry led initiative to provide 50,000 jobs for Indigenous people.

Andrew Forrest and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd launch the AEC at Kirribilli House. Business and Indigenous Leaders commit to the AEC project.
 

16th February 2009

The first AEC skills based training course leading to guaranteed employment will take place in February 2009.
 

17th September 2009
