Selected Employment Service Provider Model
To ensure the AEC employers have received the required level of service to employ an Indigenous jobseeker who has the skills and ability to perform the tasks from day one we are utilising a Selected Employment Service Provider model that will increase efficiency and productivity of sourcing, assessing and referral of AEC participants to AEC Employers.
Many AEC Employers have already indicated their preference to have only one employment service providers to work with in relation to the sourcing, assessing and referral of AEC participants. Employers are looking for quality of skills and suitability of an individual rather than quantity of AEC participant referrals.
AEC Employers are committed to the employment and retention new Indigenous workers, they formally do this by signing an AEC covenant. In which they guarantee positions to applicants who meet their minimum criteria and who are available to
During the phase of sourcing and assessing the suitability of AEC participants the selected employment service provider will interact and liaise with other employment service providers within the market location. They will ensure all Indigenous jobseekers who are suitable for the roles have been given the opportunity to be assessed.
