How can you Register?

How can you search for AEC Jobs?

There are a couple of ways to search for AEC Jobs that are available now and into the future.

  1. Follow this link to see a list of upcoming positions and training programs.

  2. AEC Jobs are listed on the Australian Government Job Search system. Click here for instructions to search for AEC Jobs.

Are you currently registered with a Job Network?

If you are currently registered with a Job Network, please let your Case Manager know that you would like to register with the AEC.

Your Case Manager will be able to let you know what AEC jobs are available and what Job Set training is required. If you are applying for a new type of job or industry make sure you read and understand the minimum requirements of the industry detailed in the fact sheets and are able to meet all criteria. This will ensure that we are finding the right job for you.

Are you currently unemployed but not registered with a Job Network?

In order for you to be connected to a Job Network you will need to attend an interview for an income assessment with Centrelink. Make sure you let the Centrelink Officer know that you wish to register with the AEC.

After the assessment you will be either:

  1. Given a Job Seeker ID and referred to a Job Network Service Provider. Once you meet with your Case Manager advise them of your interest with the AEC and they will be able to let you know of the AEC jobs available

or

  1. If you are not eligible for Job Network Services please contact the fifty thousand jobs hotline on 1300 346 325 and we will provide you with information to assist you in accessing AEC opportunities.
