How do I become a Mentor?

• If your organisation is already registered as an AEC Employer you should contact the AEC Coordinator within your organisation. This will generally be your Manager or your Human Resources Manager.
   

• If your organisation is not registered you can encourage your employer to participate by directing them to the fifty thousand jobs website or the fifty thousand jobs hotline.
   

• If you are unable to register as a volunteer mentor within your organisation, please register as a volunteer industry mentor on the fifty thousand jobs hotline. When the need arises the AEC will contact you to assist in mentoring within an organisation similar to yours.
   

• Once you have registered your interest and your company starts recruiting through the AEC training programs, you will be contacted by your manager and connected with a new worker.
